District House tops off, achieves sales milestone

Following a summer of big changes, the District House project has topped off just under one year since the project's groundbreaking ceremony.

Installation of the project's windows and signature walls of glass also recently commenced. Concurrent with those efforts, mechanical coordination and brick installation are advancing on all project elevations. Once the window systems are in place and the building is fully enclosed, work will accelerate on the interior of the building. First unit deliveries are planned for late spring 2018.

Sales activity remains strong. The sales team sold seven units in the late summer and early fall, recently achieving an important milestone — 75% sold! There is still something for everyone, however; including penthouse units (2 remain available), corner units (3 remain available), or terrace units (2 remain available). Several tiers have limited availability, including the sold out '02 and '03 tiers and one unit remaining in each of the '04, '06 and '07 tiers. Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty is actively marketing the seven available units.

Meanwhile, approximately half of the ground floor retail space is reserved, with lease negotiations actively nearing completion. The development team, in collaboration with its retail leasing broker CBRE, is in advanced discussions with several prospective tenants for the balance of the retail space. Formal tenant announcements will be issued in the coming months.
