Choice on Tap with Fairgrounds at District House

District House will become the fourth Chicago-area location for Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea, a Chicago-based coffee and cafe offering interesting, elevating elixirs, all-day breakfast, and an incredible variety of coffee and tea. Oak Park joins existing cafes in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood and the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, as well as a new location under construction in Fulton Market. The innovative cafe concept also has locations in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis and downtown Los Angeles.

According to Fairgrounds, “Yes we are a coffee shop and yes we are a cafe, but we’d like to think we are more than that. Our goal is to help you discover a new relationship with coffee and tea, thus we serve a 50/50 ratio of both coffee and tea (we love both equally!).”

“We’re always thinking on what’s next — come try a tea elixir or the latest roaster on tap to taste for yourself! We’re also committed to serving the highest-quality, ethically-sourced ingredients to create flavorful, nutrient-packed meals, so you can get it all at Fairgrounds.”

Fairgrounds aims to create a space Oak Park will call a home-away-from-home to enjoy delicious food and drinks, good for the mind, body and soul.

Fairgrounds will join fitness concept Club Pilates later this year, contributing to Lake Street’s vitality and marking an important gateway into downtown Oak Park.
